XCMG Excavator, a division of XCMG Machinery (SHE:000425), made a commanding impression at bauma 2025 with the unveiling of 13 all-new E-series excavators designed specifically for European markets. Showcased under the banner “Solid Innovation for Green Tomorrow,” the lineup blends precision engineering with sustainability, aligning closely with the EU’s environmental agenda.
Held from April 7–13 in Munich, the global construction machinery trade fair served as the stage for XCMG Excavator’s strongest European showing yet. The launch included three standout models: the XE10E and XE45E mini excavators, optimized for tight urban job sites, and the XE530E, a heavy-duty mining excavator built for high-performance in rugged conditions.
European Focus Fuels Demand
Co-developed with European partners, the new models reflect XCMG’s deep dive into regional operational requirements. The results were immediate—hundreds of serious inquiries and a headline-grabbing contract for 300 units, including the popular XE19E and XE27E mini excavators. The deal shattered bauma’s previous single-order record, signaling strong confidence in the brand’s innovation and reliability.
One Estonian contractor, Mr. Hans from FORKLIFT OÜ, lauded the equipment during a demonstration, calling it “Gute, supergute Maschine!” (“An exceptional machine!”).
Driving the Green Transition
Reinforcing its commitment to the European Green Deal, XCMG spotlighted its zero-emission and low-noise electric machines. A delivery of 20 XE215EV all-electric excavators to European clients marked a major milestone, with visitors getting hands-on experience during test drives of the XE19EV. Attendees praised the machines’ intelligent controls, smooth operation, and ergonomic design.
The green portfolio now spans a comprehensive range—from 1.5 to 70-ton models—featuring electric, hybrid, and electric traction technologies. The 20-ton-class XE215EV, in particular, is gaining traction in Germany and the Netherlands, thanks to its six core strengths: power, durability, safety, intelligence, comfort, and energy efficiency.

As XCMG Excavator ramps up production and delivery across Europe, its long-term strategy focuses on high-end, application-specific solutions. The company is doubling down on collaboration with regional partners to boost R&D, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
