Claas Expands Limited ‘Night Edition’ Package to Scorpion Telehandlers

by Annie

Claas has announced the expansion of its exclusive ‘Night Edition’ styling package to include four of its Scorpion telehandler models, following the earlier introduction of the design for select Arion and Axion tractors. The sleek, limited-edition aesthetic will now be available on the Scorpion 733, 742, 756, and 960 models.

The ‘Night Edition’ features a distinctive look, with grey cab roofs and wheel rims complemented by bold decals on the doors and bonnet, including prominent Night Edition emblems. Previously reserved for the Arion 500 and 600, as well as Axion 800 and 900 series tractors, this striking package is designed to offer customers a unique visual identity alongside top-tier performance.

Availability will be limited to select European markets, including Germany, France, Poland, Italy, Scandinavia, and the UK, which is expected to include Ireland.

Since 2017, Claas’s Scorpion telehandlers and Torion wheel loaders have been produced in partnership with Liebherr at its Austrian facilities in Telfs and Bischofshofen. The Telfs site, established in 1976, spans nearly 18 hectares and employs over 800 staff. This collaboration has led to ongoing modernization efforts, including upgrades to cab pre-assembly and the construction of new infrastructure such as a logistics center, shipping hall, and an advanced administration complex.

In 2024, Liebherr marked another significant milestone with the remodelling of the telehandler assembly line. The €9.4 million investment resulted in an expanded, flexible line capable of producing up to 3,000 telehandlers annually—positioning the facility for continued growth and innovation in agricultural machinery manufacturing.
