Honda has announced the availability of its high-output EU3200i and EU7000iS Super Quiet Series generators in California, meeting both U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Phase 3 emissions standards and California Air Resources Board (CARB) Tier 4 compliance requirements.
The Honda EU3200i is a compact, portable generator, ideal for RVing, tailgating, DIY projects, and home backup power. Offering 3,200 watts of power, it is capable of running most modern RV rooftop 13,500 BTU air conditioners, lights, and other appliances. Weighing just 59.7 pounds, the generator features easy two-step starting, exceptional fuel efficiency, and long run times, making it a convenient choice for outdoor and recreational use.
The Honda EU7000iS, on the other hand, is a high-powered, quiet model designed for both commercial and residential use. It produces 7,000 watts of rated power while maintaining a quiet 58 dB(A) operation. The EU7000iS incorporates Honda’s innovative electronic fuel injection technology, which enhances fuel efficiency and allows for longer fuel storage without maintenance. It also boasts a one-touch, push-button electric start for effortless operation.
Both models feature Honda’s advanced CO-MINDER® system, a carbon monoxide detection feature that automatically shuts down the generator before dangerous CO levels are reached. Additionally, the Honda My Generator Bluetooth® App enables users to remotely monitor and control the generator’s performance via an Apple or Android device.
Honda’s Super Quiet Series generators integrate a range of design improvements, including an evaporative emission control (EVAP) system, fuel cap tether, and enhanced canister capacity. These features optimize fuel combustion and reduce air emissions of nitrogen oxides, hydrocarbons, sulfur, and particulate matter.
With a commitment to reducing environmental impact, Honda continues to lead with innovations that align with its Triple Action to Zero initiative, aiming for carbon neutrality and sustainable resource use by 2050. The Honda EU3200i is priced at $2,799, while the EU7000iS has an MSRP of $4,999, both backed by competitive warranties.
