British engineering excellence is at the forefront of a significant new investment by BOELS Rental, one of Europe’s largest plant and tool hire firms. The Netherlands-based company has placed its largest-ever order with JCB, valued at £65 million (€78 million), further solidifying the reputation of British manufacturing for quality and innovation.
BOELS has ordered over 700 JCB machines, including a range of advanced equipment such as tracked and wheeled excavators, wheeled loading shovels, Loadall telescopic handlers, rotating telescopic handlers, electric scissor lifts, and electric site dumpers. A standout feature of the deal is the inclusion of JCB’s latest 145XR X Series tracked excavators, which will be added to BOELS’ fleet, showcasing the superior performance and reliability of British-made machinery.
The new fleet will be delivered in the coming months, with the majority heading to central Europe, particularly Germany, where BOELS is increasing its support for the contractor sector. This major order not only reinforces BOELS’ leadership in European rentals but also underscores the global demand for high-quality British engineering.
For JCB, the deal marks a significant achievement, bringing the total number of machines supplied to BOELS since 2012 to over 3,000. Claudio Fiorentini, JCB Global Major Accounts Managing Director, expressed his pride in securing the deal, emphasizing the ongoing commitment to world-class service and innovation that defines British manufacturing.
Guy Cremer, BOELS Group Chief Procurement Officer, highlighted JCB’s range of machines as perfectly suited to the rental sector, noting that the company’s exceptional service support across Europe was a key factor in their purchasing decision.
Founded in 1977, BOELS Rental has become a major player in the rental sector, serving industries such as construction, infrastructure, and events. This latest investment is a testament not only to BOELS’ growth but also to the continued success of British manufacturing, reaffirming the UK’s position as a global leader in engineering and innovation.
As the global construction sector continues to expand, JCB’s British-built machinery remains a gold standard for quality, reliability, and cutting-edge technology.
