Danfoss to Showcase Innovative Solutions for Sustainable Construction at Bauma

by Annie

Danfoss Power Solutions will highlight its cutting-edge technologies for sustainable construction at this year’s Bauma exhibition. The company plans to showcase a range of products and solutions designed to enhance the efficiency, safety, and environmental impact of construction and mining machinery.

At their booth, Danfoss will spotlight advancements in hydraulics, eHydraulics, electrification, digitalization, autonomy, and software, demonstrating its broad expertise and innovative capabilities. Over 60 products will be displayed, organized by the subsystems critical to construction and mining machines, including propel, steering, work function, and controls.

The booth will also feature dedicated stations on electrification, eHydraulics, and the Danfoss PLUS+1 Platform. The company aims to illustrate how its scalable, modular solutions can be customized to meet specific customer needs, seamlessly integrating into a variety of machine sizes and applications.

Danfoss will launch several new products during the event, including the X1P family of open-circuit piston pumps based on the new X1 platform, expansions to the Thorx line of cam lobe motors, and a thermoplastic hose tailored for material handling. Key products such as the Digital Displacement pump and controller, Editron ED3 onboard charger and ePTO, electrohydraulic steering subsystems, and an industrial cam lobe motor for large stationary machinery will also be featured.

A major focus at the booth will be electrified hydraulics (eHydraulics) and electrification. Ondřej Aulich, a subsystem engineer from Danfoss’ Controls division, will present a lecture on Monday, April 7, at 10 am in Hall B0, discussing the impact of electrification on work hydraulics and the technological advancements required to optimize efficiency without compromising reliability or functionality.

Markus Plassmann, head of growth and sales operations at Editron, will join Carraro’s Enrico Tracanzan for a presentation on the companies’ innovative two-speed driveline solution. Their session, scheduled for Wednesday, April 9, at 3:30 pm in Hall B0, will explain how this solution enables OEMs to switch between hydrostatic and electric propel systems without requiring chassis modifications, simplifying vehicle design. The electric propel system will be displayed at the Danfoss booth, alongside the Danfoss eHydraulic Power Module, showcasing the benefits of integrated solutions.

“The theme of our booth is ‘Set your vision in motion. From idea to reality,’” said Steen Rohleder, Vice President of EMEA Sales at Danfoss Power Solutions. “This reflects our commitment to helping customers overcome their most significant machine challenges. Our solutions are designed to enhance productivity, precision, and safety, while reducing emissions and fostering a more sustainable future for the construction industry.”
