At the 16th edition of Printpack India in Greater Noida, NBG Printographic Machinery showcased a diverse range of advanced packaging machinery catering to industries such as flexible packaging, labels, folding cartons, rigid boxes, and sustainable packaging. Occupying a 657-square-meter booth — the largest at the exhibition — NBG demonstrated its growing market presence.
The spotlight was on the Starflex web servo flexo label press, sold to Kumar Labels, along with the ZNEP 450QXB square bottom paper bag machine, Starfold 1100 folder gluer from Yoco-Jinghong, paper cup machines from Newtop, die punching machines from Century, and the Hongming DP4030PS rigid box-making machine.
Bharti Aggarwal, sales director at NBG Printographic, emphasized the efficiency and versatility of the ZNEP 450QXB paper bag-making machine. “This machine supports both twisted and flat handle options, making it ideal for high-volume, long-term production in the retail and food packaging industries,” she said, noting its role in addressing the global demand for eco-friendly packaging.
Another standout was the Starfold 1100mm folder gluer, capable of speeds up to 500 m/min with four and six-corner gluing capabilities. Designed for both fluted and mono cartons, the machine accommodates irregular carton shapes — offering greater flexibility for packaging converters.
Aggarwal highlighted the rapid technological transformation in India’s printing and packaging sector, driven by sustainability demands. “We’ve expanded significantly into exports and secured bookings for six to seven machines across different segments at this expo alone,” she remarked.
The exhibition also strengthened NBG’s industry partnerships. Despac Global acquired its third fully automatic paper carry bag machine — the ZNEP ZD-F450QXB model — which will boost the company’s production capacity from 140 million to 250 million bags per month, reinforcing the shift towards sustainable packaging solutions.
