RK International Machine Tools, a premier supplier of grinding machines in the UK, is set to participate in the prestigious TIMTOS exhibition in Taipei, Taiwan, from March 3-8, 2025. The company will showcase an impressive range of advanced grinding machines, in collaboration with its long-term partners, to meet the growing demands for precision manufacturing in the UK and Ireland.

Jainnher’s Centreless and Thread Grinding Machines
For over 30 years, RK International has partnered with Jainnher Machine, a renowned grinding specialist. Jainnher will feature four machines at the event, including the JHC-2416T CNC7, a mid-range centreless grinding machine with a 230mm OD capacity. The machine is equipped with seven-axis Fanuc controls for enhanced precision. Notably, there has been a significant increase in Jainnher machine installations, replacing older models and offering more efficient and safer options for modern workplaces.
Additionally, Jainnher will display the JHT-4010CNC, a thread grinding machine with a 400 x 1,000mm capacity, which boasts an automatic cycle adjustment feature for improved efficiency. Another highlight is the JHD-3205IO, a dual spindle machine offering OD and ID grinding, designed for higher productivity.
Rood also highlighted the importance of precise grinding, stating, “Accurate centres in components are crucial for successful OD grinding.” The JHG-1510NC2 Centre Hole Grinding Machine, capable of grinding crosshatch patterns into component centres, will also be showcased.
Perfect Machine Co: Enhancing Surface Grinding Efficiency
Another key partner, Perfect Machine Co., will present its latest generation of touchscreen-controlled surface grinders at booth I0802. The DT Series of machines provides increased productivity, featuring automatic down-feed with roughing, finishing, and spark-out cycles. The popular PFG-3060DT model will be on display, alongside the CNC-controlled X36H model, known for its exceptional precision.
Perfect’s machines are known for their robust construction, and the PFG-600R rotary table grinder will also be featured, particularly useful in the electronics and optics industries for tasks such as wafer grinding.
Joen-Lih Machinery and Next-Level Precision Grinding
RK International has recently added Joen-Lih Machinery to its portfolio, a move that expands its offerings of advanced grinding solutions. Joen-Lih will display the JL-52CNC HP, a three-axis CNC surface grinding machine known for its ultra-precision capabilities with 0.0001µm vertical programmable increments. Additionally, Joen-Lih’s JL-S12 CMP lapping and polishing machine, ideal for semiconductor industries, will demonstrate the ability to achieve sub-0.5µm precision.
The JL-D20 double-sided lapping and polishing machine will also be on show, with a 1420mm diameter table that supports high-precision polishing for various components.
Dawn Machinery: Vertical Grinding Innovation
Dawn Machinery will highlight its vertical grinding products, including the DN Series at booth M0610. Featuring both single and dual spindle models, the DN machines are ideal for OD and ID grinding. The dual-spindle DN-808F model, capable of grinding up to 810mm in diameter, will be demonstrated with both vertical and horizontal spindles, offering versatile grinding solutions for different forms and faces.
Rood noted, “Vertical spindle grinding offers numerous advantages, including easier loading and a more compact footprint. It is an efficient alternative to traditional horizontal grinding.”
